3D art is a hard work... i m pretty sure of that, i am a civil engineer myself, i got to tell you i know 3Dmax and other God know 3D software..and without a decent hardware, well all you get is a google skectup (without the render off course and low detail)
and the obstacle to mastering 3D art, the lighting, colour, oh..
